My sisters and I went downtown Chicago for the weekend. Here I am in our fancy hotel looking out at the Palmolive Building. Built in 1927-1929, it's one of our country's premier Art-Deco style skyscrapers.
Mostly we played in our room... ordered room service, listened to CD's, and scrapbooked.... also enjoyed just being together.
We did spend an afternoon browsing Chicago.
Below is the famous Water Tower which was the only public building to survive the Great Chicago Fire of 1871.
We stopped at the Hershey store!

We posed for a photo in front of the Chicago Christmas Tree in Daley Plaza where at Chriskringlemarket we ate a delicious German lunch and purchased German embroidered table scarves.
